March Commits: 2027s from the The Lakes, Chesapeake Carolinas, and Colonial Regions

March was a busy month for many 2027 prospects. VB Adrenaline is diving deep into the month’s announced commitments, and here’s what you need to know about March commits from the The Lakes, Chesapeake Carolinas, and Colonial regions.

Kalyn Brookbank, OH - Minnesota

Level: Elite Orange

Brookbank is a high-flying 6’1” outside hitter who plays for Illinois Adversity and Barrington High School. She was named to the AVCA All-Region 6 team in 2025 and was the Mid-Suburban League East Player of the Year for leading her team to the MSL championship. She’ll be bringing her impressive range of shots and stable passing to Minnesota of the Big Ten.

Ally Forbes, OH/DS - Gardner Webb

Level: Green

Forbes is a 5’10” outside hitter and defensive specialist from Morrisville, North Carolina. She plays for Triangle Volleyball Club and Seaforth High School’s varsity team. A First Team All-State and All-Conference selection, she has committed to play in-state for Gardner Webb of the Big South conference.

Brooklyn Rummler, MB - IU Indy

Level: Green

Rummler is a 6’2” middle blocker from Rochester, Michigan. She plays club with Legacy Volleyball Club, with whom she won the AAU 15 Open National Championship in 2024. A physical presence at the net, she is accustomed to running multiple routes including gap sets and slides behind the setter. She has committed to play for Indiana University of Indianapolis of the Horizon League.

Eliza Schlachter, OH/MB - Lehigh

Standing at 6’1”, Schlachter is quick off the ground and a versatile 6’1” hitter from New York City. She plays for Fieldston High School’s varsity team and NYC Volleyball Academy. She has committed to play for Lehigh University of the Patriot League.

Lucy Tisch, L/DS - Stonehill

Tisch is a 5’4” libero and defensive specialist from Durham, North Carolina. She plays for Triangle Volleyball and East Chapel Hill High School. She has committed to play for Stonehill College of the NEC.

Aniyah Scott, OH/OPP - Howard

Scott is a 5’11” outside hitter who attends and plays club volleyball for IMG Academy in Illinois. A powerful attacker and strong blocker, she has attended multiple NTDP training sessions and received a UA Next invite earlier this year. She’ll be attending Howard University of the MEAC.

Kendall Corbin, MB - SEMO

Corbin is a 6’1” middle blocker from Jasper, Indiana who plays for Jasper High School and Metro Volleyball Club. A standout in the SIAC, she earned All-Conference and IHSVCA 3A South All-District honors in 2025. She will be bringing her length and scoring touch to SEMO of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Halle Recker, S - Evansville

Recker is a 5’9” setter who also, like Corbin, also plays for Jasper High School and Metro Volleyball Club. A First-Team All-SIAC selection, she recently rewrote the record books for her program, setting new school marks for both single-match assists and single-season assists. Recker will stay in-state to play for Evansville in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Rylee Drummond, S/OPP - Purdue Fort Wayne

Drummond is a versatile setter/opposite from Elkhart, Indiana, where she plays for Elkhart High School and NIVA. She was named Conference MVP and received First-Team honors, and was also selected as an Indiana All-Star in 2025. She has committed to play for Purdue Fort Wayne of the Horizon League.

Addison Otto, OPP - New Hampshire

Otto is a physical, left-handed opposite hitter from Farmington, Minnesota. At 6’3”, she is a force at the net with standout blocking. She plays for Farmington High School and competes with Northern Lights for club volleyball. She announced her commitment to play for the University of New Hampshire of the America East Conference.

Emma Tenhagen, OH - Northern Illinois

Tenhagen is a 5’11” outside hitter from Burlington, Wisconsin. A six-rotation hitter, she plays for Burlington High School and Milwaukee Sting. She has committed to play for Northern Illinois University, newly of the Horizon League.
