Early Star Watch Series Coming this Week

USAVB Nationals has traditionally meant our "introduction" to the next recruiting class to come.  In part because of a very small staff and also because of my philosophy of growth and development that in projecting for "college recruiting" it is ok to watch and start to learn about athletes in 7th and 8th grade, but we definitely shouldn't be "ranking them" as there is so much development and change ahead we are truly doing so many of them a huge disservice giving them (and parents) false hopes ranking them in middle school.  So we will begin to do more coverage and recognition during the 15s season, but evaluation-wise, it is at Nationals when we start to kick in the recruiting talk.  That said, we are far ahead of the names and knowledge of the 15s classes we were 3 years ago, mainly because of our scouting network and Player Profiles. 

So yes, we will be learning several new names in Dallas, but we will also be learning more about players we have been following for a year+ + now through their profiles.  We want to bring some of those players to your attention in an Early Star Watch series.  We will spotlight some of the Top Player Profiles of 2028 athletes we already have and have been following, who will be in Dallas.  We will post edits of them before the tourney on our socials, and then I will find them and get highlights of them in action on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday at USAVBs.  There will be comments, PPV updates, up/down, etc, and input from pro scouts in attendance.

This is a great chance for you to check out our list, learn some of the names you will hear much more about, and see the athletes play with the spotlight on them in a great way! We hope to add some more of the class's athletes to our Profile List as we go and talk about several more.
