Catching up with Carolina Commits

Jackie Taylor: Rising senior Jackie Taylor is a high-flying 6’0 middle blocker from Miami, FL. Taylor plays at Miami Hype Volleyball Club and has verbally committed to the University of North Carolina. Taylor is excited to join the Tar Heels squad and play in a Power Five conference. “I’m a hard worker and very driven, I care about my teammates and their success, I'm always going to push my teammates to the best of their abilities”, said Taylor.

Erin Curtis: Rising senior Erin Curtis is a well-rounded six-rotation outside hitter from Mountain View, CA. Curtis plays at Vision volleyball club and Saint Francis High School and verbally committed to the University of North Carolina. Curtis is thrilled to join the Tar Heel squad and looking forward to being a part of the UNC family.  “UNC stood out to me because it is a really good combo of getting to compete at the highest level but also being a really good program that focuses on culture and being surrounded by people working to make you a better athlete and person”, said Curtis.

Julia Bohlinger: Rising senior Julia Bohlinger is a 5’11 libero from Windsor, Colorado. Bohlinger plays for Norco 16 black volleyball club and Windsor High School. Bohlinger is excited to be competing in the ACC with the Tar Heels and playing at a high with and against high-level athletes.  Bohlinger is eager to cheer on her teammates by bringing her high-energy attitude on and off the court.
