Create a Player ProfileThe Wisconsin Badgers continues push toward Big Ten title

The Wisconsin Badgers are moving their way up in the rankings this week, sweeping their first two Big Ten opponents, and people are starting to notice.
Head coach Kelly Sheffield’s Badgers are looking like serious contenders to take the Nebraska Cornhuskers' crown in the conference this year.
Their win over the Florida Gators, who were ranked 15th in the country at the time, served as a notice that they aren’t going away.
The Badgers have won eight straight, going into their match tomorrow evening against Illinois, which took down ranked Purdue.
The Badgers also lead the nation in attendance, and ticket sales have gone up. Sheffield seems to be happy with where her team is to begin the season, and it starts with newcomer Madison “Mad Dog” Quest, who made her first start against Rutgers.
Quest hit a season-best seven kills on 11 attempts for a .636 hitting percentage. She also added two service aces and four blocks.
Middle blocker Carter Booth and setter Charlie Fuerbringer’s on-court chemistry has also made a difference. Booth talked about her connection with Fuerbringer after the Rutgers win.
"Chemistry is always helpful, having that connection there. As a middle, especially at this level, our job is less about demanding perfect balls and more about managing whatever it is that we get. Today was great and it really has been. The past few games, we've just been climbing that ladder and improving and improving. I think for me it's the tangibles, it really opens up the court."
Everything the Badgers are doing right now is working as they continue their march toward a Big Ten title.
