The First Member of Wisconsin's 2028 Class: Opposite Taylor Freeland

The Badgers are on the board! Opposite hitter Taylor Freeland, out of South County Volleyball Club in Utah, is officially the first 2028 signing for Wisconsin. It was only a week ago that the 6'3" hitter was at camp in the Wisconsin gym, and we did say she was the type of pin who would fit right in there. The Gold-level prospect has already put together an impressive career, including a spot on Team USA's U19 National Team roster, multiple NTDP sessions, and being named to the 2025 GJNC 15 National All-Tournament team. Freeland does have experience playing on both pins, so it will be interesting to see where Kelly Sheffield ends up placing her once she gets to campus in 2028.
