Create a Player ProfileTexas Slotted as 3 Seed Heading Into SEC Tournament

With the SEC regular season officially coming to a close, the bracket has been announced for when Texas travels to Savannah, GA next weekend. Their first match will take place on Sunday after earning a double-bye. The way the cards fell, it sets up some very interesting potential matchups for the Longhorns. The first match will be against the winner between Missouri and LSU/Ole Miss. If Missouri can advance, then setter Marina Crownover and Assistant Coach Jhenna Gabriel (former Texas setter) would get the opportunity to compete against their former program. In the semifinals, if both of the higher seeds are able to advance, it would set up a revenge rivalry matchup between Texas and Texas A&M, this time at a neutral site. It's exciting to have a conference volleyball tournament where matchups like these can happen, fans will get some good teams playing each other over consecutive days and there will be some thrilling results in such a competitive conference.
