Short....not on TALENT as she leads WAVE to a great season.

Chandler Short might not be in the mix of "flashiest setters in Class of '29", but she is smooth, solid and doesn't flinch under pressure that was apparent in the Windy City last weekend.  The WAVE 15s floor general never panicked despite her squad being in a couple of nail biters in Sunday's tourney play vs. some of the top teams in America and the end result?  Another title for her WAVE squad.  Others on her team or even her age group might steal more of the headlines, but when you watch Short closely she is going to be in high-demand from some big college programs because of her talent of course, but also because of her composure in those pressure packed situations.  Her stock went up in our eyes Sunday afternoon and she moved up some Big Boards of at least a couple of P4 programs as well.  Well done Shortie!!
