Roster Update: Sam Untiedt Enters Transfer Portal

Louisville defensive specialist Sam Untiedt has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal and will not be returning to the Cardinals for the 2025 season. While no public announcement has been made on her social media accounts, the Louisville volleyball staff has confirmed her departure.

Untiedt, who has three years of eligibility remaining, is known for her strong academic focus and disciplined approach on and off the court. A libero/DS with high upside, she’ll likely be looking for a program that aligns with both her competitive and academic goals—potentially closer to home or at a high-academic institution.

While her time at Louisville was brief, the Cards wish Sam all the best in this next chapter of her collegiate career.
