Pitt is It For A5 Outside Leilani Lamar

Joining what may end up being Pitt's best recruiting class in program history is outside hitter Leilani Lamar. The Gold-level outside hitter plays not only for the top-ranked club team in the country (A5 16 Gabe), but also has twice been named to Team USA's U19 National Team roster. She's also been named an AAU All-American three times.

Lamar is now the fourth 2028 commit to the reigning ACC champs, alongside setter Alexandra Knox, opposite Mesa Jameson, and middle blocker Shaun Waller. Clearly, there's something to be said for a program that's reached five consecutive national semifinal appearances and is home to the back-to-back National Player of the Year, as coach Dan Fisher has done a phenomenal job recruiting recently and things aren't slowing down.
