Penn State Makes Initial Big Ticket Purchase Like Last Year Grabbing Stucky and Portal Games are Open

Almost as they did last year, signing OH Emmi Sellman before they headed to Louisville to win the Final Four, the Penn State Nittany Lions make the first big purchase of the 2025-26 Transfer Portal Season, signing former Florida Setter Alexis Stucky.  The move comes as little surprise, as most expected to be aggressive once again in the portal, and everyone expected them to pursue a veteran Setter.

Stucky is a logical choice as she reunites with Opposite and former Gator teammate Kennedy Martin, who was Ms. Everything last year for Penn State.  Don't expect Penn State to be done there as they could look to add other weapons to go with Martin.

The signing of Stucky should trigger other big signings this week (especially with Texas and Nebraska now eliminated from the NCAA tournament) so you can now say the Portal is Open.
