My O(maha) Meyers! Mavs steal '27 in-state Middle

Watch out, Summit League Omaha just landed a great one!  Just wait until Mac Padroza gets the news, one of her favorite MB's in the class of 2027, just verballed to in-state Omaha of the Summit League.

Reagan Meyers, Nebraska ONE, was lighting things up early in the club season in 2025 on that deep and talented team full of college prospects.  Strong, but quick off the floor and great on her block.  Playing so well was Meyers that she immediately caught the eye of former VBAdrenaline writer/announcer and BTN announcer Mac Padroza, who wrote about her early on in 2025 and again after the TC NIT tourney.  Then, shortly after, Meyers tore her ACL playing basketball and was out for the entire club and HS seasons, plus the beginning of her 17s season, rehabbing.  Crushing for most teens, and I'm sure not easy for Meyers, who was climbing our early charts, and I'm sure multiple other schools, as well.

Fast forward to late this winter, and Meyers gets back on the court with her Nebraska ONE squad and actually looks very good right away as they ease her back into competition.  I was able to watch in Chicago, at the beginning of April, and she was really starting to get her stamina and endurance back and was back into playing shape again.  She was getting the competitive edge back again, and the confidence was definitely coming back for the 6'3" Nebraskan.  She had been receiving several looks from colleges, but in the end chose an Omaha program that has had two solid classes and plays in one of the best mid-major conferences in the country, the Summit League.  For the Mavs, this has to be an incredible commitment with the in-state kid and a 210 PPV. She has P4 talent for sure, and 18 more months to strengthen and continue to work to get better before hitting campus.
