Momentum in Michigan

Erin Virtue and her Michigan Staff had a great ending to their work week. The Wolverines received verbal commitments from two local pins and two of the region's best prospects. First, Luca Bombacino, a back-row machine, versatile attacker, and prospect who can also step in immediately behind the service line once she arrives in Ann Arbor, made her call to the Maize and Blue. The Michio Chicago standout has a PPV of 181 and recently saw that increase due to her stellar evaluations from the Select Camp tours.

Later, on the first day of the Woverines #1, the targets pulled the trigger and gave her commitment to Coach Virtue.  Maddie Kurpeikis (PPV 224) was sought after by more than 20 schools and was on the short list of many in the Top 25.  Landing the versatile, dynamic Outside attacker has to be possibly the biggest recruiting W for the Virtue Staff since arriving in Ann Arbor. It gives the entire program moving forward the opportunity to finish the 2027 class and should help other recruits stand up and take notice.
