Maija Mortensen Commits to the Reigning Champs

The reigning NCAA champs have gotten things going in their 2028 class by securing a commitment from middle blocker Maija Mortensen. Mortensen, a 6'4" Gold-level middle, won the Utah Class 6A state championship with Corner Canyon High School in the fall and received first-team all-state honors for her contributions. Playing club volleyball for SCVC, she was named to the 15 National All-Tournament team at last year's GJNC, and, most recently, was named to Team USA's 2026 Girls U17 National Team.

This is another big-time pickup for Jamie Morrison and the Aggies, whose 2027 class we have ranked sixth among all programs with a PPV average of 251. Is this a sign that the 2027 class will have an even better average? If anyone can do it, you'd hope it'd be the reigning champs!
