University of Louisville volleyball standouts Cara Cresse and Chloe Chicoine were invited to join the USA Volleyball U23 Women’s National Team training group ahead of the 2025 NORCECA U23 Pan American Cup.
Cresse, a fifth-year senior middle blocker, and Chicoine, a junior outside attacker, trained alongside the nation’s top young talent from July 18–25 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Anaheim, California. Following the week-long camp, 12 athletes were selected to represent Team USA at the international tournament in León, Mexico, held July 25 – August 2.
Their invitations reflect not only individual excellence but also the rising national profile of Louisville Volleyball. Both players have been key contributors to the Cardinals' recent NCAA Tournament runs and now continue to extend that impact onto the international stage.
