Create a Player ProfileHenley Anderson Honored at AVCA Awards Banquet

Future Longhorn Henley Anderson got invited to Kansas City alongside First Team All-American Torrey Stafford and Third Team All-American Cari Spears to be honored in her own right. Anderson was one of 4 Finalists for AVCA High School National Player of the Year, and while she fell short of the title, she has cemented herself as one of the elite, elite players in the country as she wraps up her high school career.
Henley will be enrolling at Texas a semester early, meaning she will be on campus starting in January. She arrives ready to compete, and her first-class athletic profile will have her battling for a starting role in 2026 as a true freshman. Although it won't be easy, with Texas returning all three of its starting pin hitters, including two freshman phenoms Cari Spears and Abby Vander Wal. One theme remains true that the Longhorns have lots of young, talented attackers and Henley Anderson is ready to contribute to that.
