Create a Player ProfileElizabeth Bowar Loves the Cards, Louisville is gonna love Elizabeth Bowar

A few weeks ago, Elizabeth Bowar and I conducted a 90-minute interview that felt like it lasted only 10 minutes. She discussed why she chose Louisville over Wisconsin. How could she not go to school where her idol Elena Scott played, how her soon-to-be position coach C.C. McGraw is like a God in the libero community, but is like a sweetheart when you meet her, how she shoots deer and elk and everything in between? Then she talked about how Dan Meske gets "straight to the point" and said "Hey we want you here, and you are important to us" and that was "the perfect way to recruit her" and how she was coming to Louisville to kick some butt and the sky is the limit for this team and they weren't backing down from no one. Hell, I was ready to run through a brick wall for the girl, and I'm old, and it was 10:00 PM. Then, like the dufus you know me to be, I somehow erased that entire interview before I downloaded it to the website, and it was lost forever.
But, what can't be lost at all is the fact that Elizabeth Bowar doesn't just Flash the L's. This girl probably has them branded into her saddle in the stable on their ranch. Yes, she has beautiful horses, and yes, we discussed moving them to Churchill Downs for the school year in that excellent interview that was deleted. Liz Bowar has so much 'Ville Passion coming out of her already that I don't think you could put her and Kamden in the same small room together, or the Card Culture might combust. She's just perfect, and I've heard she's a good libero as well, with offers from Wisconsin and Kentucky, and having camped at Texas A&M, with serious interest in many other top-10 programs. Whoever takes those cheesy student commercials for the University and makes kids act like they enjoy being a Cardinal, grab Bowar. She won't have to fake it. The kid can't wait to get here.
Whatever you do, when Elena Scott comes back for an alumni event or to say "hey" someday at practice, get her security because the fangirl Bowar has for her is through the roof and she does not hold back, but she also has a goal to and it's why she came to Louisville and that is to chase her idol every single day (isn't that how the GREAT programs are created).
She knows volleyball, coming from the Royal Family of Idaho Volleyball and a family of college athletes. She will be everyone's biggest fan. The first thing she told me was, 'You watch out for my little sisters; they are the studs in the family, so much better than I am, ugh, so talented.' I haven't done this kid justice, Ville Nation, and we have to get her back on video because her voice makes you want to have a great day.
She's an energy giver, she's go-go-go all the time, she will be known all over campus and all over the city, but she just LOVES LOUISVILLE VOLLEYBALL. Y'all just gotta hang on for a bit, but when she gets here, you are in for a real treat, and who knows, she might be good at volleyball too?
