Dual-Sport Sangha could be a Diamond for ND

Some 2026 recruiting news shuffled amidst the college weekend headlines this AM.  Tribe 2026 Middle Isabella Sangha has verballed to Notre Dame to play both basketball and volleyball, according to social media accounts, Monday evening.  Sangha absolutely passes the eye test when you watch her on the volleyball court and could make a serious impact on the ND lineup in a couple of seasons with her height and length.  Her recruitment was odd to say the least, with many schools not sure what route the 2026 phenom would go if it would be basketball solely?  So Notre Dame getting the Florida talent for the dual-sport role is a great addition to the program.

Many challenges and sacrifices can come with playing two sports at the P4 level, so it will be interesting to see how that is all worked out between the programs down the road, but Sangha would be both a dynamic offensive and defensive presence in the Irish volleyball lineup, that is for certain!
