Creighton Lands Ayden Ames

Big news in the Big East as the Creighton Blue Jays have brought Ayden Ames back to Nebraska.  The Texas Longhorn transfer has committed to Creighton as of this afternoon.  Aymes, a former UA All-American and All-SEC Freshman selection, will come in with 2 years of eligibility for the Jays and will officially be the most significant signing ever for the program.

In high school, Ames originally verballed to Nebraska before decommitting and attending Texas. She will play in the Volleyball State, but in Omaha and in the Big East.  This is also a huge recruiting win for Creighton, as Ayden was rumored to be receiving serious interest from 2 or 3 other teams that were in the Round of 16 in the NCAA tournament.  She will enroll in classes at Creighton in January.
