The GOAT? Texas Recruiting Class of 2025 OFFICIALLY ends at #1 in VBAdrenaline Class Rankings

It's official The Longhorns do in fact have the #1 recruiting class in the NCAA's for the Class of 2025.  Now that colleges have reported and the "Prospects" are officially "College Athletes" all of the ranking and speculating and evaluating and blah, blah, blah is over.  But, according to our VBAdrenaline.com Recruiting Class Rankings Texas did in fact hold on to the #1 overall ranking and now that it's official it needs to go down in consideration for potentially "The GOAT" of all Recruiting Classes at least according to VBAdrenaline owner Darren Tipton.  "For a total signing class to have 5 athletes in it and AVERAGE PPV of 274 that's out there to think about.  I'm not sure who we overinflated score wise when I go back and look each time (and especially when you would compare them across with other sites "rankings" we are right on with everybody.  Texas simply nailed this group."  

Killer in-state talent:  One thing that helped the Horns was an insane class of Texas in-state kids and the fact they wanted to stay home.  Wrapping up 3 of 5 , from your own backyard, really helps (and also really helps with the new Rev Share model).   "Locking up Gaido and Krueger local, local was nice and then having the ability to give Spears the time she wanted to go everywhere else and visit was  an asset as well."  Tipton commented.  "Texas had a luxury only 1 maybe two other programs have in that they COULD wait on Spears after Abby decided immediately."

Culture Won Out:  Harvey was the gem in this class though VanderWal and Spears will get the headlines.  Harvey took all the work and probably the hardest to win over.  Being from Utah and with an older sister who had an extremely positive experience at Stanford that is where everyone assumed Taylor was headed and there was no guarantee from the Harvey family it wouldn't end up that way either.  Middle was a BIG area of need in this class and by playing the wait game as long as Harvey made them wait, talent pool was low IF the 'Horns missed out on the Middle out of Utah.  So she was the biggest W on this class.

When you consider that this class includes the #1, #2 and #4 highest valued players in our PPV rankings of the entire class and the #1 or #2 libero in the class that is pretty incredible and hard to mess with in any era.

Also, when you start to think about how the Revenue Sharing economics is already starting to change the way teams begin to recruit differently and how the "Mega Classes" may be a thing of the past.  This truly could be the Greatest Recruiting Class of All-Time and they just stepped foot on the 40-acres a few months ago and officially became Longhorns a couple of days ago.
