Many Questions Not Answers As Huskers Approach Opening Match: Talent Isn't One of Them

So many questions have eaten at Husker Nation since DBK took over and Spring ball began.  

Who will be L2?

Why are there 3 Oppos?  What are they going to do with Ryan H?  How can they get everyone playing time?

Who wins the Libero job?

Is Bergey the lone Setter?  Do they run a 6-2?  Does Campbell win the job?

Where does Pierce get reps? Does she go to the Opp?  Who does she beat out on the Pin?

Here is what I believe we can all feel comfortable "penciling in," as they say, for the opening, which is about a week away in Downtown Lincoln.

1. Harper Murray will be L1: Can we all agree (Staff included that's going to happen)
2. Andi Jackson seems to have a safe hold on M1 (any rumors to the contrary), and for now, we are pretty safe saying Becca is locked in at M2 as well (whew, an entire position that looks fairly solid).
3. Then.......Then......Well then, it's kind of a crap shoot, literally it's up to the Mad Scientist, I guess, to mix and match and experiment.  Maybe it's a couple of matches and they find a lineup that works or maybe that's a huge game-plan advantage and they use it all season to keep other teams off balance who knows? That would be a pretty cool Nebraska Radio Station Giveaway Contest though:  Guess tonight's actual starting Husker Starting lineup AND the color of DBK's Jacket and Shoes and you win Free Pizza for a Yr From......

But, seriously, though it's been talked about over and over and over again," when is the coach going to name this or put out a depth chart or say who the Libero is?"  I suppose she will do it when she does.

The great news is that everybody, regardless of who the coaches put in the lineup, can look at the lineup.  Are you kidding me #LetsGO the Huskers are LOADED with talent young talent and semi-old talent.  All-Americans and soon-to-be ones are competing daily for whatever scraps of PT they can get to show their game to the fans and coaches.  When everyone is hungry, the whole program raises its level of intensity.  This is the deepest roster in the NCAA, so no matter who DBK puts in, they are a pro volleyball player taking the court.  Now that is something for Big Red Nation to be jacked up for.

It's been a long time since the Huskers brought home the Natty, too long this fanbase needs to get a little nasty a little grumpy when those visiting teams come visit.  Kind of like this team is.  No matter who plays they don't want another B1G Championship they want to dominate and let everyone know how good they are at the end of December and then no one will give a rip about who was a starter and who wasn't, because everyone of them will be NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
