Bluejays Get Two More!

More exciting news from the Bluejay program as both Ruthie Robinson and Reagan Wallraff announced their commitments to Creighton.
Robinson is a 6’1 middle out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and plays for Kairos Elite. She was a standout at camp this past week showing off her big swing out of the middle, hitting all sorts of shots.
Robinson said in her commitment Instagram post, “I would love to thank Coach Brian, Coach Izzy, Coach Adam, and Coach Angie for giving me the opportunity to play for them! I saw something special in this staff and team cheering them along through the Elite 8 last season!”
It is clear that the Creighton coaches saw something special in Ruthie as well, she is the 114th best prospect overall, and will make a great addition to the Bluejay team.
The second recruit is Reagan Wallraff who has an incredibly special connection to Creighton as she is from Omaha! The 6’1 outside hitter said in her commitment post, “Thank you to Coach Brian, Coach Angie, Coach Adam, and Coach Izzy for believing in me and giving me the chance to be a part of something so special. I can’t wait to wear that Bluejay jersey and represent such an amazing program!”
Wallraff was another camp standout with her strong shots and exceptional placement. She also puts up some impressive stats as No. 6 in the country for kills of all sophomores and No. 8 for hitting percentage with a percentage of .403.
Coming from playing at Nebraska One Volleyball for club, Wallraff is following in the footsteps of many other great Bluejays who are from Nebraska such as Norah Sis.
Both recruits are incredible players and really proved themselves at camp. It will be exciting to see how the rest of their high school careers shape up before coming to Creighton!
