Annalea Maeder wins Big East Setter of the Week

Creighton Bluejays setter Annalea Maeder was named Setter of the Week by the conference.
Maeder averaged 10.67 assists, 2.17 digs, and 2.17 kills per set, pacing Creighton to a 2-0 weekend highlighted by the best team hitting percentage in the conference (.424). In a 3-0 victory over Villanova, the senior dished out 30 assists, seven digs, and a career-high nine kills on .571 hitting. As a team, the Bluejays hit a season-best .457 against the Wildcats.
Two more Jays were added to the Big East honor roll, outside hitter Ava Martin and middle blocker Kiara Reinhardt.
Martin averaged 4.17 kills, 1.30 digs, and 0.33 aces on .379 hitting as the Bluejays swept Georgetown and Villanova on the road, and Reinhardt averaged 3.00 kills and 1.33 blocks per set on a massive .696 hitting in victories over the Hoyas and Wildcats.
