Andi Jackson finds her mojo again

Middle blocker Andi Jackson had a slow start to the season for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, hitting below. 215 for the first three games of the season, then something happened.
The old Andi showed up against the Cal Bears, and she dominated with a .450 hitting percentage with 12 Kills.
Jackson discussed working through her issues at the beginning of the season, but has made progress.
“I know I haven’t been attacking the best, but I think that comes with trying new things.” All the middles are trying new things, trying new routes, trying new arm swing mechanics; it’s going to come with failure, and I have to remind myself of that.”
“I have to remind myself I’m not going to hit 600 every game,” she added. She also saying staying patient and remembering the process also helps.
Jackson’s early-season slump hasn’t affected her game or team. She has 99 points, the second-highest number of kills on the team with 79, and her hitting percentage is back up in helping lead the team to an undefeated record to start the season and to the No. 1 ranking.
