America's Top 2027 Narrows Her List: Did Texas Make the Cut...Breaking Recruiting News

VBAdrenaline has learned that the #1 prospect in the Class of 2027 has cut her list to 3 Final schools.  Ireland Real, our highest rated PPV athlete since October of 2024, has long been reported to want to take her time and make her visits before making her decision on a school.  We learned today that she has narrowed her final three schools down to:

Texas

Stanford

Kansas

In a surprising move she has left Wisconsin off that final list, a school that was thought to be the leader coming off of last Summer's Camp circuit for the California native.

Kansas is a new name to the "public conversation", but maybe shouldn't be.  Her mother played for the Jayhawks and Coach Ulmer and staff had very strong ties with West Coast recruits from their time at Oregon.  Still KU was not a school that had been brought up in conversations in previous recruiting convos for the talented 6-rotation Real and would be a program changer no doubt.

Stanford long involved in the conversation has been in and out as early favorites, then not likely when Wisconsin seemed the pick.  Now down to three the Cardinal obviously have been in the mix all along and Real would fit the role of a Cardinal prospect ideally and would honestly be a jolt for the class.  Of course we wouldn't officially know this until May, due to academic guidelines at the prestigious institution.

Texas has quietly hung around in the recruiting battle for Real, more of a "yeah-right" initially, but I think everyone now sees just how serious they have always been on their commitment to Real as their Top Priority in 2027.  I've said this many, many times over the past 18 months since truly getting to know their staff "CULTURE MATTERS" and when I met and interviewed Ireland at Nationals two Summers ago I just felt the culture fit.  People laugh at me when I say that, but it truly does mean something there when determining between certain players and I think it means something with Real from the few times I've talked with her and her parents.

So no idea on timeframe or what it truly will come down to when it's all said and done, but I'm interesting to see how the visits go because I know this is a young lady who is taking everything into consideration and if she is taking time to take a visit it's not just a "Courtesy Visit" so all three schools are still in play.
